Understanding user challenges
The Big Chill Festival website struggled with poor navigation, low engagement, and an unclear user journey. The main goal was to identify the usability issues that made it difficult for visitors to explore events, find key information, and purchase tickets confidently.
Designing a seamless shopping flow
Through UX analysis and user-journey mapping, I identified key friction points in navigation, event discovery, and ticketing. I simplified the site structure, improved hierarchy, and redesigned the ticketing path to create a smooth, intuitive flow from exploring events to taking action.
Through clearer navigation, a refreshed visual hierarchy, and a mobile-first layout, I improved usability and streamlined the festival browsing experience. The redesign made it easier for users to explore events, access ticketing, and engage with key features across web, mobile, and kiosk platforms.
